This privacy policy describes how Lucide, developed by Charly Augendre, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Lucide mobile application (hereinafter "the App").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We only collect the data necessary for the App to function properly:

• Account data: email address and password (encrypted via Firebase Auth)
• Profile data: first name, weight, height, age, sex, physical activity level
• Nutrition data: logged meals, calories, macronutrients, daily hydration
• Goal data: personalized calorie and macronutrient goals
• Subscription data: subscription status via RevenueCat (no payment information is stored by Lucide)
• Technical data: Firebase user identifier, date and time of login

We collect no location data and no sensitive biometric data, and we access your camera only for barcode scanning, with your explicit permission.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Providing and personalizing the nutrition tracking features
• Calculating your nutrition goals using scientific algorithms (Katch-McArdle, Mifflin-St Jeor)
• Analyzing your meals using artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API)
• Syncing your data across your devices via Firebase Firestore
• Managing your subscription and access to premium features
• Sending you reminder notifications (only with your permission)

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties

Your data may be shared with the following providers, strictly within the scope of their services:

• Google Firebase (authentication and cloud storage) — Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (AI meal analysis via the Claude API) — Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat (in-app subscription management) — Privacy Policy
• Open Food Facts (product database for barcode scanning) — public data, no personal data transmitted

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising or commercial purposes.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the App, all of your data is deleted from our Firebase servers within a maximum of 30 days.

Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer for the purpose of improving the App.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: delete your account and all your data from the App's Settings
• Right to data portability: obtain your data in a readable format
• Right to object: object to certain processing activities

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Secure authentication via Firebase Auth (password encryption)
• Data transmission encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Data access strictly limited to the user's own account
• No payment information stored by Lucide (handled exclusively by Apple and RevenueCat)

8. Children

The Lucide App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. In the event of a significant change, you will be notified via an in-app notification or by email. The date of the last update will always appear at the top of this document.
